Military OneSource
Military OneSource provides you with information and resources that can help improve many areas of your life, from personal to professional. Disabled American Veterans
With more than 1.2 million members, Disabled American Veterans is an organization of disabled veterans who are focused on building better lives for disabled veterans and their families.

The organization accomplishes this goal by providing free assistance to veterans in obtaining benefits and services earned through their military service. It is fully funded through its membership dues and public contributions. It is not a government agency and receives no government funds.

DAV is the foremost representative of the interests of disabled veterans and their families, their widowed spouses and their orphans before federal, state, and local governments. Our National Legislative Program ensures disabled veterans are not forgotten by lawmakers.

Military Severely Injured Center
The Department of Defense has opened the Military Severely Injured Center, a 24/7 service to help severely injured service members find jobs and answer questions they and their families might have. Their mission is to serve as a backstop to every other government program intended to help military members and veterans who suffer severe physical or mental wounds from war. If a severely injured veteran has hit a roadblock with finances, education, job assistance, counseling or childcare, they should contact the Counselor Advocates. The goal is to prevent Service Members from falling through the cracks of more well publicized programs from the Army, the Department of Veteran Affairs or any other federal agency. Resources are also available for family members impacted by the Soldier's injuries. Contact with the 24/7 service can be reached at (888) 774-1361.
