"Where do I begin, but to only say a very big Thank You for bringing my son home for Christmas. Hubie Tolson of New Bern, North Carolina has my warmest thanks and I pray his kindness is returned again and again. My son was wounded by an IED blast on November 19th in Iraq and is currently receiving ongoing medical care at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington, DC, following an amputation of part of one leg. Your organization made it possible for him and his wife to get home to see his daughter and other family and friends for Christmas. Organizations like yours that are helping our "wounded warriors" are outstanding in the eyes of all of those affected by the generosity of money, time and love for people you've never met. Thank you again for bringing our family together this Christmas."
Best Regards,
-Marcia Curry

"As a wounded war veteran, I know first hand how important the support of your family is in your recovery. It was only through my faith, the skill and determination of the medical staff and the loving support of my family that I was able to recover from my injuries. For those soldiers and their families who sacrifice so much for our great nation, an organization like VAC is a Godsend."
General Richard B. Myers
Honorary Vice-Chair, National Advisory Board
Veterans Airlift Command
"Taking care of our wounded troops is a top priority. The government administers primary care, but we also rely on generous Americans, such as those affiliated with VAC. Their support to our nation's service members, as well as to their families, plays an integral role in raising morale and aiding the healing process. The service they provide is both unparalleled and unwavering and shows that America really appreciates all their sacrifices."
